MHT-CET FOR ENGINEERING AND PHARMACY DEGREE COURSES (MHT CET) Exam Pattern

The Maharastra common entrance test

The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test will have physics, chemistry, mathematics, biology question papers.

Physics and Chemistry papers will be of 50 marks each.

Mathematics and Biology papers will be of 100 marks each.

Candidates who wish to take admission in engineering programs through MHT CET 2017 will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry and  Mathematics papers.

Candidates who wish to take admission in Pharamacy courses through MHT CET 2017 will have to appear in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology papers.


There is no choice among the questions, i.e. all questions have to be answered. . The Candidates will be provided one OMR Answer Sheet and Question Booklet. At the end of paper, candidate will hand-over the OMR Answer sheet and Question booklet to the invigilator. No candidate is allowed to leave the examination Hall till the end of examination. Each question with correct response shall be awarded one (1) marks.
There shall be no negative marking.

Examination Pattern

Before appearing in the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test one must know the exam pattern of MHTCET 2017. The relevant details outlining subject wish marks for the MHCET 2017 are as follows.
